Mission Statement
We believe the value in owning a vintage vehicle is in
being able to drive and enjoy it reliably and safely,
allowing it to receive the compliments and attention it
deserves. We also understand classic cars require
a considerable investment of time, effort, and money.
Our mission is to help our customers protect their
investment and preserve their piece of automotive
history; We do this by providing a complete,
specialized, one-stop service experience for classics,
from minor repairs to full restorations. In
addition, we also offer assistance with the locating,
buying, or selling process.
Our company history
Vintage Auto was founded on July 7, 1990 by Dan Loftus.
His vision was simple: To employ his passion for
vintage vehicles, and to share that experience by
restoring and servicing classics for their owners to
drive and enjoy. "My favorite restoration," he often
said, "is the next one!"
Since then we have fully restored dozens of vehicles,
and have a busy service schedule during summer months.
We keep things simple, and community oriented, because
those are our roots. Every project, every classic on the
road has a place here.

"My personal collection is a bit on the mundane
side. I've had a long-time Volkswagen obsession,
and the current line-up reflects that..
What I really like to see at a car show, are vehicles
that you don't see at every car show. While I love late 60's Camaros, '70 Chevelle SS, classic
Mustangs, 1963 VW "Herbie" look-alikes, and late 50's
Chevys, I'm always drawn to that one odd-duck.. The
fully restored 1976 Pinto, a 1953 Eisetta, a 1961
Lincoln Continental Convertible, or... My bone stock '78
Skylark. :-) Daily drivers are the best!
I love cars with a little character: The well-worn
steering wheel.. The fingernail marks behind the door
handle.. These cars were loved, and still are.
They tell a story all their own. I
don't care if there is a fly speck on the inside of the
ashtray handle, or if the tires don't have all 2,038
original casting nubs.. There is such a thing as
over-restoring, and the process of detailing can get
carried away to the point where you're afraid to touch
it. Now, detail is key in my business, but for
myself, I'll take the one I can cruise around in all
summer long.. Those memories are priceless!"
